The Tools We Use

Supportive practices from traditional contexts — shared for personal reflection, approached with respect and care.

These practices are not presented as solutions, cures, or sources of spiritual authority.

Respect, Reverence, and Responsibility

At Casa de Vida Nueva, guests may encounter references to traditional practices that have been stewarded by cultures for many generations.

We approach discussion of traditional practices with:

  • deep respect

  • cultural awareness

  • personal responsibility

  • Participation is always optional.

How We Work With These Medicines

How We Approach These Practices

Bufo Alvarius

balvariusyu05cu.jpg

Bufo Alvarius (Sonoran Desert Toad) is native to the Sonoran Desert region of northern Mexico.

For generations, its secretion has been honored in ceremonial contexts as a gateway to expanded awareness and profound spiritual awakening.

Within the sacred container of Casa De Vida Nueva, Bufo ceremony is approached with:

  • Reverence for the land and lineage

  • Clear intention and preparation

  • Safe, grounded facilitation

  • Dedicated integration support

Many describe the experience as a full reset of perspective — dissolving old narratives and reconnecting with truth, presence, and unity.

This is not casual work. It is sacred, powerful, and transformational.

Kambo

Kambo is a traditional Amazonian purification practice utilizing the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor (Giant Monkey Frog).

In ceremonial space, Kambo is known as a powerful cleanser — often working on physical, emotional, and energetic levels.

Participants frequently share experiences of:

  • Deep release

  • Emotional clearing

  • Renewed vitality

  • Heightened clarity

At Casa De Vida Nueva, Kambo ceremonies are held with presence, respect, and careful preparation. The experience is intense yet brief, often followed by a profound sense of lightness and renewal.

Kambo is offered as a purification gateway — a way of clearing what no longer serves.

Other medicines such as Samadhi, Hape, Xanga may be offered at practitioner's discretion at an additional fee.
