Hapé (Rapé)

A Supportive Tool for Grounding & Clarity

What Is Hapé?

Hapé (pronounced ha-peh, also commonly pronounced rapé) is a traditional Amazonian blend made from finely ground tobacco and medicinal plants. It has been used for generations as a way to center the mind, quiet distractions, and bring awareness into the present moment.

At Casa De Vida Nueva, we recognize its traditional use while approaching it with discernment, simplicity, and respect.

How We Approach It

We want to be clear in alignment with everything we do:

  • We are not shamans

  • We do not lead people into anything occult

Everything we offer is Christ-centered.

Hapé is not treated as something spiritual or mystical. It is simply a supportive tool that may help individuals become more still, aware, and present.

Why We May Use It

When used in a guided and intentional setting, Hapé may support:

  • Mental clarity and focus

  • Grounding in the present moment

  • Releasing mental noise and distraction

  • Creating space for reflection and prayer

It is always optional and offered with clear communication.

What to Expect

If Hapé is offered during your experience:

  • It is administered gently and intentionally

  • The effects are typically short-lived

  • Some may feel a brief intensity followed by calm and clarity

Each person’s experience is different. Our role is to support—not control—your process.

Christ-Centered Foundation

We believe:

  • Christ is the healer

  • God is the source of all transformation

  • No tool holds power—only God does

Hapé is never the source of healing. It may simply help create a moment of stillness where someone can better connect with God.

Important Considerations

Hapé is not for everyone.

We carefully consider each individual and may advise against use depending on health, sensitivity, or personal preference.

Your safety and comfort always come first.

Our Heart Behind It

Everything we do is centered on creating space for:

  • Stillness

  • Reflection

  • Clarity

  • Encounter with God

We meet people where they are—with love, integrity, and truth.

No pressure. No confusion.
