Kambo
Kambo is a traditional practice involving the secretion of the Amazonian giant monkey frog. It is applied through small superficial openings in the skin and produces a strong physical response.
Kambo is often described as physically intense and may involve purging, sweating, nausea, discomfort, emotional release, or a temporary feeling of physical challenge.
At Casa de Vida Nueva, Kambo is never treated casually.
Our Approach
We do not present Kambo as a cure, spiritual cleansing agent, or guaranteed detox.
We do not claim that Kambo heals diseases, removes spirits, or replaces medical care.
Some guests may describe feeling lighter, clearer, or reset afterward, but individual responses vary.
Our role is to hold the process carefully, conservatively, and with respect for each person’s body, limits, and safety.
A Physically Intense Tool
Kambo can be demanding on the body.
For that reason, screening is essential. Kambo may not be appropriate for people with certain heart conditions, blood pressure concerns, seizure history, serious medical conditions, pregnancy, certain medications, or other risk factors.
Guests should never hide medical information in order to participate. Full honesty is necessary for safety.
Consent and Choice
Kambo is optional.
Guests may decline, pause, or choose not to participate.
No one is more or less “ready,” “spiritual,” or “committed” based on whether they receive Kambo.
Your worth is not measured by how much intensity you can endure.
Our Christ-Centered View
Kambo is not our source of healing.
Christ is.
Kambo may serve as a supportive physical and reflective tool for some guests, but it is never elevated above God, prayer, wisdom, or responsible care.
